The third book in Sally Series
by Elizabeth Coatsworth starts off with the story being told from the perspective of Pierre, the son of a French aristocrat as he flees a murderous mob during the French Revolution/ Reign of Terror. It is not until several chapters later than Sally and her family are reintroduced.
The story is extremely short and would, in my opinion, have benefited from a more lengthy page count. Also, it has little character development outside of Pierre.
Still, enjoyable story overall.
