Devoured - Amanda Marrone The prologue was the best part of the book. Intriguing, with just the right touch of menace. I was keen to see how the mirror/ jinn would play into the story and then enters Megan and her cliche love-life and teenage angst, without the slightest touch of interest for me, and the book just plodded on and on until a lackluster climax. It is not something I would recommend and the fairytale elements were both underused and ignored.
