Strange Angels - St. Crow, Lili This reads like a female hunter's tale from the world of Supernatural. In all seriousness, the feel of the Real World has great similarities to the Hunter sub-culture in the TV series Supernatural. Except there is actually way more swearing in this book, which averages a swear word every other page that contains dialogue. That got tiresome quick. It shows a lack of precision and ability to choose words that convey emphasis.

Still, I liked Dru. Her tenacity, the fact that she is scared and far from perfect. She is loyal though, caring. Tough. Jury is still out on Graves, but overall I really appreciated the fact that he accepts the reality he is stuck with pretty fast and does not try and deny what has happened and is happening.

The book did not accomplish as much as I would have liked, but I am going to be grabbing Betrayals and see where we go from there.
