Prom and Prejudice - Elizabeth Eulberg As a retelling of P & P, it was exactly that - a retelling of the classsic in a modern setting, with teenagers and the necessary changes of locale and plot for the time period, etc. There was nothing new to add to the story, no variation of Austen's timeless themes and social commentary. No wit or sparkle. The characters lack personality or any motivation of their own. In that sense, very bland.

Still, it is fluff and a very easy quick read - it it candy essentially. Cotton candy. If you feel like having some - enjoy. Otherwise, I would give this a pass.
