The New Avengers, Vol. 3: Secrets and Lies - Brian Michael Bendis, Frank Cho, David Finch So, this one is about aftermath and picking up the pieces. I find the series to have too large a cast, hard to follow the direction of the action, changing loyalties even more swiftly than soap operas. It is messy, lacks finesse and cunning.

I did like these two quotes:

"And no one handles it with more humanity and humility and humor than the Cap. This isn't some super-soldier serum, this is the man."

Steve: While I'm not one for speeches, ... I did want to speak to you briefly about what the Avengers mean to me. As some of you know, the Avengers are the ones that found me. They were the very first faces I saw in this brave new world ... and they have been my family ever since."
