Good sequel. Built on everything we learned and people we met in the first book. Moves the plot along swiftly, Eva has a character arc that develops who she is and who she will choose to be as she encounters other humans, learns about freedom, conformity, peer pressure, individuality, bias and prejudice, etc.
Eva journeys to the human settlement only to discover that it is not everything that she had dreamed. She also learns that she has a sister, who is emotionally damaged.
All in all, a good follow-up, continue to like the illustrations, would really like to see Hailey/Haley (sp?) developed as a character.
Some weird earth/nature stuff, but nothing bothersome.
2.5 - 3
I'll keep an eye out for the next one.
