A much better book than its predecessor, it manages to convey more emotion and immediacy. The characters are all likable and relatable, if not always terribly intelligent and frankly I wanted to spend more time getting to just know
who these people were, esp. the royal family. I had hoped we would spend more time with them, nonetheless, it was pretty good and I would recommend it. It is slow going and not as satisfying in its conclusion as I would have hoped, but otherwise a good adventure with themes of tolerance, forgiveness and being willing to change your mind and see someone in a new light.
