It was ok. It had some new ideas, like the Iron fey, but overall was just a rehash of Titania, Mab and Oberon and their courts squabbling, the exiled fey in our world wreaking their havoc and a love triangle that springs up like a Jack-in-the-Box with two faeries that have no real basis for being in love.
I did enjoy Grimalkin, however.
And Ethan was rather sweet had we been given any time to get to know him. Maybe find out what was going through his head while trapped in the Iron kingdom. Had Ethan and Meg been shown to be close siblings, the story would have carried more weight.
