Venetia - Georgette Heyer, Richard Armitage 2.5 stars

Would have been three, but some of the attitudes here really bothered me.

Well, first off, Richard Armitage made this wonderful to listen to.

I did like it, but wished that Venetia did not so complacently regard Demerol's habits, his dalliances with multiple ladies and his very great likelihood to forget her and find some other woman if she did not return to him quickly enough. Shows an extremely poor regard for Venetia herself, foregoing any discussion of morality. If his affection or will was so weak and changeable, I found the whole story falls apart. Why should I be rooting for these two if he is just going to forget her in a couple weeks? In all seriousness?

Aubrey was a good, if callous, brother.
